Technical Liaison · Solutions Engineer
Michael Forster
The engineer companies embed when the program is too important to hand to someone who needs a ramp.
Technical liaison and solutions engineer with 15+ years on first-of-their-kind programs across connected vehicles, geospatial platforms, and enterprise B2B SaaS. Resident engineering, multi-vendor triage, and customer trust from the facility floor to the C-suite providing Technical operator with 15+ years at the intersection of connected systems, AI, and enterprise field delivery. My work lives in the space where complex engineering has to make sense to a customer, a product team, and a C-suite at the same time. I've been the person companies embed when the program is too important to hand to someone who needs a ramp. Connected vehicles, V2X infrastructure, OTA systems, geospatial telemetry. First-of-their-kind programs, federal-scale deployments, multi-vendor coordination across LTE and 5G. Peer-reviewed research that shaped USDOT policy. Providing cross-functional leadership across Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV), Embedded Systems, ADAS, Navigation, Product Management, Automated Validation, Software Quality Assurance (SQA), TPM, and Design Release Engineering. Now building at the edge of applied AI. Running private, sovereignty-first inference infrastructure on distributed Apple Silicon, integrating ML workflows into field research and geospatial pipelines. Core focus: Field Application Engineering, Technical Account Management, AI-augmented systems, and anywhere the technical relationship and the customer relationship are the same job. B.S. Electrical Engineering | M.Sc. GIS | CCNA | AWS Cloud Practitioner | CCNP in progress | AWS Solutions Architect in progress. Currently building AI-assisted field data pipelines and private distributed inference infrastructure
